ACCA & FIA New Student Orientation (Champs Fleurs Campus)

Welcome to SBCS! Our ACCA/FIA orientation program is designed to support new ACCA accounting and finance students as they begin their journey at SBCS towards a successful career. 

Presentations will be done by senior administrators who will be available to answer questions, listen to students’ concerns, and take them on a tour of the school’s facilities.

Parents are welcome to attend this session as well.

Find your fit in the Creative Sector | CFAFF & SBCS

Join us as we discuss the organization’s initiatives including, CFAFF ILLUSTRATE – Arts Impact Initiative, CFAFF 2018 “For Common Good” Fashion-Film and Street Art Festival, EAST YARD International Creative Residency and EAST YARD Magazine.

 

The session will include:

  • Screening of a selection of local and regional short fashion films entered in CFAFF over the years
  • Panel discussion on using the arts to address social issues
  • Presentation on Caribbean Fashion and Arts Feature Festival Volunteer and Internship Opportunities

Presentation from Volunteer Center of Trinidad and Tobago on volunteerism and its many benefits and the different opportunities available.  

ABOUT CFAFF

Caribbean Fashion & Arts Feature Festival (CFAFF), a non-profit organization, incorporated in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago with the mission to merge fashion, film and art through public film screenings, lectures, exhibitions, fashion shows, concerts and festivals for the general public. With a strong interest in youth development, the organization is mandated to host workshops, mentorship initiatives, educational sessions and seminars related to film-making, fashion and arts for young people aged 15-25, primarily in East Trinidad, interested in careers in the creative sector to assist with skill building, support internship opportunities and build job experience.

   

With two successful editions of CFAFF, our annual flagship fashion film and arts festival under our belt and international recognition in the form of a wonderful feature in Vogue Italia http://www.vogue.it/en/news/vogue-arts/2016/11/23/caribbeanfashion-and-arts-feature-festival/ we feel the time is right to now parlay this success into efforts focused on our youth in art and social good mandates.
