Danielle Alexander
BSc Hons, BA Hons

Ms. Alexander is an experienced and thorough English teacher. A graduate of St. Joseph’s Convent, St Joseph, she then moved on to attain degrees in both International Relations (BSc Hons) and Literature and Linguistics (BA Hons) at the University of the West Indies. She has successfully taught a wide range of students – both children and adults – for over seven years in her field, with a focus on writing, analytical thinking and comprehension from SEA to CSEC to CAPE and Cambridge levels.

She has joined the SBCS faculty with the aim of equipping potential and current students of the establishment with the core skills and guidance to navigate their next academic steps or wherever life may take them. Her classes are highly student-centered, interactive and engaging, so come prepared to debate and explore new avenues to get to the top. After all, “When the student is ready the teacher will appear. When the student is truly ready, the teacher will disappear.” – disputed origin

Ms. Alexander currently serves as a part-time lecturer at SBCS GLI.
