Ms Smith is a Management Consultant with over 20 years’ work experience in both the Private and Public Sectors locally as well as abroad. Her experience spans an array of industries, including Energy, Automotive, Financial, and Telecommunications. Most recently she worked in Human Resource Services, in her 6-year tenure at a State Company as Deputy CEO and Vice President Corporate Planning, having also been Acting CEO for the latter two years.
The diversity in the roles Marie has held and operating environments that she has developed in informs her lecturing style and is passed onto her students. She facilitates several courses at SBCS inclusive of; Dissertation (BA HRM program, University of Greenwich), Research Skills (BTEC, Higher National Diploma), Academic Report Writing (University of Sunderland), Emotional Intelligence, Anger & Stress Management (Matriculation), Study & Research Skills (Matriculation), Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management (Short Course).
Ms Smith has a passion for bringing out her students’ potential and her collaborative and interactive style ensures that learning is always practical and relevant.
