On Saturday, May 5th, 2012 SBCS welcomed a new cohort of students for the University of Leicester MA Media & Communications programme – April 2012 Intake. An Orientation was conducted by members of the Corporate Education Centre and Student Services Department to apprise the new students of the practices and guiding principles, both academic and administrative , of the MA programme .
Also invited to the Orientation, was a past University of Leicester MA Graduate who gave students an insight into the nature of the programme , as well as what to expect during their tenure at SBCS.
SBCS currently offers the following Media and Communications qualifications through our relationship with the University of Leicester, a relationship that to date, has spanned over ten (10) years:
• MA in Mass Communications
• MA in New Media and Society
• MA in New Media, Governance and Democracy
• MA in Communications, Media and Public Relations
There are two intakes for the progammes annually, which are in April and October. Applications will be accepted up to August 25th, 2012 for the October 2012 Intake.
