The hard work and dedication of our City & Guilds learners has paid off! 

In total, 74 students wrote examinations in the December 2018 sitting, and we are delighted that 96% of them achieved the standard pass grade or above in the following subjects:

• Basic Construction Skill
• Electrical Installation 2
• Plumbing 2

In our inaugural hosting of examinations for these City & Guilds modules, 54% of SBCS candidates who sat their examinations achieved a Distinction grade. That figure jumps to 88% when considering candidates who achieved a Merit grade or higher!

Our staff and students worked assiduously, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Executive Director, Dr Robin Maraj said: “Splendid! These are great results for our students at our Champs Fleurs (CF) and San Fernando (SF) campuses. This is clearly a result of hard work and determination not only our students, but from our dedicated staff at our campuses who always go above and beyond to support our students. Kudos and congratulations to our hardworking teams in CF and SF, our students and our lecturers! What’s more this was our first time fielding candidates for these exams; a splendid showing indeed.”
