On Sunday, March 25, 2012, our San Fernando campus hosted its 4th Annual Career / Open Day. Hundreds of participants were treated to engaging campus tours, psychometric testing and interactive activities, while receiving personalized career advice from career advisors and faculty members present on the day. Attendees were also afforded the opportunity to liaise with a broad cross section of our current students and graduates who shared how their experiences at SBCS have thus far impacted their lives, both professionally and personally.
The Career / Open Day is an annual event held at the campus, where participants are advised on the portfolio of programmes offered at SBCS and the various career paths associated with these qualifications. Details are also provided on the universities and professional associations with whom we partner to provide these qualifications, as well as our flexible modes of study, learner centric facilities and ancillary services. Each attendee is provided with an SBCS Career guidance booklet as well as a “Why Choose SBCS” guide.
This year’s Career / Open Day formed part of our year-long celebration of 25 years of excellence in academic quality and service delivery. We wish to thank the attendees, and the staff and students of SBCS, for all helping to make the event a successful one.
