Dwayne Lockhart, Pearson Edexcel’s Caribbean representative, visited SBCS’ Champs Fleurs campus on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Mr Lockhart met with the Executive Director, Dr Robin Maraj, Edexcel Programme managers and senior administrators, to look at strategies to enhance Edexcel’s partnership with SBCS.
SBCS offers Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in Graphic Design, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Construction and the Built Environment, Creative Media Production, Business and Computing and Systems Design, in conjunction with Pearson Edexcel.
Discussion was focused on the policies and procedures that underpin the Edexcel suite of programmes as well as how SBCS and Edexcel could collaborate to ensure their efficient operation.
To conclude a rather productive visit, Mr Lockhart toured the Champs Fleurs campus and was impressed by the quality of facilities and provisions made to ensure a comfortable learning ecosystem for students.
