Imagine a work day in a tranquil environment where we participate in yoga, learn about ways of reducing stress; where you are served breakfast with a smile and exciting team building exercises await. Staff at the SBCS San Fernando Campus experienced this during the week of Monday, October 28th – Friday, November 1st, 2013.
Customer Service Week is celebrated internationally. It is intended to recognise the importance of customer service, to honour the people whom we serve and to ensure that we continue to deliver the highest care and professionalism.
Staff was invited to workshops and activities on Team building, Professionalism, Stress Management and Effective Communication. On the final day all staff members were awarded Certificates of Appreciation at the “Think Service Excellence” cocktail event where they were served a buffet lunch and an array of virgin cocktails and margaritas.
Celebrations extended to our student population where a lucky student won a hamper of goodies and our new customers were surprised with SBCS gifts.
Rajmani Teelucksingh – Academic Operations Officer commented:
“It’s wonderful to celebrate Customer Service at SBCS. Somehow we tend to forget how much customer service does for our organisation and how often we are a key differentiator in the market. A great week indeed…Definitely a week to remember!”
