On Saturday, June 25, 2011, SBCS Academic Administration staff hosted a programme committee meeting with the ACCA Programme Lecturers, ATEC Administrators, and student representatives from each campus. The discussion focused on programme delivery.
Several valuable contributions were made by the lecturers. Lecturers noted that students sometimes underestimate the demands of the ACCA programme. Suggestions were made regarding how students’ views could be altered to enhance their performance including the presence of past students at Orientations to share their experiences for successful completion of the programme.
The Student Representatives commended SBCS on the quality of the lecturers and facilities.
SBCS staff underscored the importance, to both lecturers and students, of the feedback and evaluation forms. Attendees were reminded that feedback is essential in identifying avenues for improvement.
To conclude the meeting, SBCS Staff and lecturers renewed their commitment to the continued improvement of the ACCA programme. Students and Lecturers were thanked for their attendance and valuable contributions.
Follow-up meetings will be held in the upcoming months.
