On the heels of the outstanding performance of some of our University of Greenwich (UOG) graduates, the University recorded a notable achievement of its own; a Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Silver rating!
SBCS Global Institute congratulates our colleagues at the University of Greenwich for being named a silver rated provider of Higher Education at the 1st TEF Awards.
The TEF is a new measure to assess the quality of teaching and learning in Higher Education in the UK. The framework has been introduced by the government to provide a resource for students to judge teaching quality in universities and to increase the importance of teaching excellence (and bring it into line with research excellence) when rating institutions.
The Silver rating stands as a recognition and endorsement of the University’s continuous improvement efforts in course design and delivery practices, quality academic support services and personalised provision. In his remarks, UOG Vice-Chancellor, Professor David Maguire highlighted the notable work undertaken by the University staff in implementing innovative pedagogy and improving the student experience; both on and off-campus: “This result would not have been possible without the incomparable dedication of our staff, who provide a learning environment which can inspire, stimulate, and prepare students for their professional futures.”
UOG’s quality standard of provision is well known to us at SBCS, having been affiliated with the University since 1999. Over that time, we have worked collaboratively with them in producing world-class graduates in various disciplines and professions. Our ever-evolving portfolio of offerings from the University boasts qualifications and alumni in:
