Employment, Entrepreneurship and Career Fair 2019

SBCS Global Learning Institute invites our current and past students to our 2019 Employment, Entrepreneurship and Career Fair .

This annual fair is a one-day event designed to connect job seekers with employers. More to this, it grants you the opportunity to gain information and guidance on academic and professional development pursuits, aimed at improving your employment prospects.

No matter the stage of your career – recent graduate or current students seeking job placement; professional desirous of a career change; employee looking at personal and professional growth opportunities – the Fair seeks to help you orient yourself to effectively engage the current changing job market.

 

Registration Fee: Free to SBCS students and alumni.

Location: SBCS, Champs Fleurs Campus

Time: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Tips to get the most out of attending the Fair: 

BEFORE THE FAIR

 

Be prepared! Research the companies that you are most interested in at the Fair.

Dress appropriately; first impressions last.

Have a well-prepared elevator pitch.

Prepare and print multiple copies of your résumé. Pre-screening of résumés will be held at CF Campus:

AT THE FAIR

 

Bring the printed copies of your résumé.

Approach employers with confidence, a smile and make eye contact.

Deliver your elevator pitch (after all, this is what you prepared it for).

Ask for a business card and remember to take notes.


AFTER THE FAIR

 

 

Send thank you notes to the recruiters of the companies you were most interested in within a few days.
