Job Summary

  • Required to provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on how to improve, capitalizing on strengths, with clear and constructive comments about weaknesses and how these might be addressed.
  • Required to set and mark assessments (written coursework) as part of an effective teaching plan in an effort to assist students to progress towards set learning outcomes.
  • Assist in practical lab exercises.                                                               

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree/Professional Qualification in a related field (ACCA/CIPS/CIM/ACAMS etc.). First degree with substantial work experience is required for degree programmes).
  • For Technical Vocational/Applied IT type courses; one can apply with Diplomas and work experience.

  • An appreciation of modern theories of teaching and learning in higher education.
  • Sound knowledge of the theory and application of the relevant subject area(s).
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Provide support and work with students from diverse educational, cultural and work backgrounds.
  • A commitment to a high level of teaching performance.
  • Committed to continuous Professional Development.
  • Familiarity in facilitating sessions via blended learning, or entirely online would be an asset.
